That’s what we remember, what we keep in mind. Not days, not places, but moments. Some are bad and some are good. Unfortunately, bad moments are much more and they come to you more often than the good ones. And when you’re having a bad moment, you think that nothing’s worth to give it a try and get over it. It is only when you experience an unexpected pleasant moment that you realize that all the sorrow and the sadness you’ve been through really had a reason. A bad situation is actually there to give you the ability to appreciate these very few but beautiful moments.
These moments don’t come when you become rich, or when you buy a new car. They come when you realize that you’re surrounded by some people who truly love you, truly care for you. The smile in their faces is just enough to make your day a little brighter and a hug makes you feel less lonely than ever before. And that’s when your heart doesn’t have enough space for all this happiness and your eyes get full of tears. And suddenly, you cry because you’re feeling full of emotions for these people, who make who you are, remind you who you used to be and love whatever you become. Emotions which you may never be able to express in their whole meaning.. You cry as if you’ve never felt alone in this life, as if you’ve never been hurt by anyone.. As if the world is perfect.
Well, I can tell that moments like these make me stronger and give me the belief that I can make it through any difficulty, I can stand any pain just to be there when they’re gonna happen again. They may be few, but only these make life worth living.
